raw vs jpeg

  1. Image quality. The main advantage of shooting in RAW is that you end up with high-quality files to edit into the best possible image.
  2. File sizes. The main difference between any JPEG and RAW file is its size. RAW files are significantly bigger than JPEG (and any other) image file formats.
  3. Launch Photo Gallery, Double click the RAW photo and click the option Make a copy under Manage category, Rename the file and change the file format as JPEG and click the Save button.
  4. JPEG, its more commonly used. JPEG typically achieves 10:1 compression with little perceptible loss in image quality.
